Miss Geico: The Fastest Offshore Racing Team Wordlwide
In the sport of Offshore Racing, one driver and one throttleman operate the race boat. The driver, Marc Granet, has the job of keeping the boat on course while a dozen or more other boats maneuver around the track at the same time. The throttleman, Scott Begovich, controls the boat’s speed and trim, maintaining the watercraft’s profile on the water. With this incredible duo, Miss GEICO holds numerous world speed runs and records. Since the team’s inception in 2004, Miss GEICO has won eight world championship titles.

The Miss GEICO race team is the largest offshore racing organization in the world. To keep the team on the road, there is a full staff of CDL drivers and support crew transporting the Miss GEICO fleet, maintenance hauler, the 31-foot safety boat, and the team hospitality trailer to races and events across the United States. While the team is focused on competition, with a full schedule of races, it also maintains a year-round presence through participation in national boat shows, poker runs, national air shows and charity events.
In 2007, United We Race was developed by the Miss GEICO race team as a 501 (c ) (3) charitable foundation for the purpose of raising funds for veterans and veterans’ programs! 100% of all race prize earnings and merchandise sales benefit these types of organizations! The Miss GEICO team has raised tens of thousands of dollars since the program’s inception and is pleased to provide assistance to those who defend our freedom! The team is proud to support members of the military and their families.
